A Bit About Prom
Join us for a Night at the Gallery at the Loews Coronado Bay Resort, under the lights of the San Diego city skyline. Enjoy live music from The Rollers, and sip Mocktails on the two-level outdoor patio. Venture inside of the ballroom, and let loose to music from SOS entertainment while illuminated by projections of impressionist art. Just past the ballroom doors, partake in a leisurely game of poker at the casino tables, and admire a gallery of student-submitted artwork. Dance the night away, and make it one to remember.

PROM EXPO: all upperclassmen are invited to the prom reveal! In the gym at lunch, we'll reveal the theme, location, and date. You'll also have a chance to enter raffles for free services! You could win vouchers for tuxedo rentals, hair appointments, dresses, corsages, etc!

Submissions of your artwork will be accepted through May 9th, 11:59 pm. The link to submit can be found here and on the @westview2023 instagram account bio. We want all types of art: poetry, sculptures, paintings, sketches, photography, mixed media, graphic design... the possibilities are endless!
Submissions of your promposal will be accepted through May 18th, 11:59 pm. The link to submit can be found here and on the @westview2023 instagram account bio. The winners will be decided May 19th, and will RECEIVE 2 free prom tickets and a $100 date to Fornaio, Coronado. Stay tuned in to the competition through the @westviewpromposals instagram account!

Guest Guidelines
Guests from any school district can attend, but they must not be over the age of 20. Students must enter and leave with their guest; there is no re-entry if you and your guest leave. Guests must show photo identification to enter the dance.

THE GUEST PASS FORM MUST BE SUBMITTED FOR APPROVAL
TO THE WESTVIEW FINANCE OFFICE NO LATER THAN THREE (3) DAYS PRIOR TO EVENT.

Can I bring others from different schools or outside the district? If so, how do I go about that?Yes! You can bring students from different schools, outside of the district, and college students as long as they are younger than 21 years old. You can get a guest pass from the front office or download the form in the 'Guest Guidelines' portion of this website.

How do I go about parking at the venue?First of all, we recommend carpooling! Parking is $10 per car in the parking structure.

Do we have to bring anything the night of the dance?No! You'll purchase your ticket with your student ID, so you won't need your ticket. If you're bringing a guest, they are registered under your ID as well.

What exactly will be at the dance?. Live music (The Roller's) . Casino Tables . Mocktail bar . Dessert bar . Collaborative art piece . SOS DJ and Entertainemnt . Immersive impressionist art projections . Art Gallery

Can I bring an underclassman to the dance?Yes! If they go to Westview, have them accompany you to purchase your tickets and they'll need to show an ID (NO GUEST PASS NECESSARY). As for an underclassman from another school/district, follow the same process as bringing an UPPER CLASSMAN GUEST.

How many guests can I bring?Each Westview student is allowed to fill out ONE guest pass. Each person you're planning to bring must each have a different Westview Student fill out their guest pass.
